New Changes for STRU's in Sevier County

Writer's picture: admin803076admin803076

There are changes that will take place in Sevier County that will affect all short-term Rental Units. Starting 1 January 2024, all STRU's are required to obtain a permit through the county and have their units inspected by the Fire Marshal. I have provided a link Short-Term Rental Unit Inspection Program Information (seviercountytn.gov) for your review that will show what will take place and what they will be looking for. Another change is that cleaning companies will no longer be allowed to use the residential convenience centers to dispose of trash. There will be a fee associated with the new short-term Rental Household garbage site. I have attached the link for your reference Update To Sevier County Solid Waste Plan and New Short-Term Rental Household Waste Sites (seviercountytn.gov)
